Unless Ive got this wrong N4M Even though it says vendor in this case I think it means your solicitor has to do this for you- BUT THE PURCHASER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE STAMP DUTY AND ANY TAXES FOR THE PROPERTY ITSELF!!
Its the same anywhere you buy- The purchaser is liable for paying any taxes stamp duty, closing costs, registration fees etc- associated with the property and not the developer, lawyers or agents!!
