I just wanted to introduce myself, my name is Paul Parkin I am an online counsellor. I recently left the UK behind to live on Crystal Bay View, Bahceli permanently with my partner Kevin. We were first to move onto CBV and therefore have experienced many of the teething problems associated with the development.

If we can be of any help/support to other purchasers, please do not hesitate to contact me, We would be pleased to help if we can.

We have now been here 8 weeks and the site building work is almost complete, landscaping should happen soon!

It would be great to hear from others that are buying and looking to spend time here.

Hi Paul, and welcome to the forum.
We are buying a ground floor apt in E block at CBView, and are over on 01 May for handover.
I undrestand Trevor & Sandra met you a few weeks ago (H block) and have asked us to make contact with you both.
Hope you have settled in at CBV, and please keep us informed of progress re landscaping and perimiter wall/fence.
It is nice to have contact with someone who is living over there, as hopefully you will have up to date news of the site.

I forgot to ask,
Are the billboards still in front of E block, and have they started the gym yet?
Lots more questions to ask, but we'll wait until we see you all.
We are determined this year to stay in our apartment (electricity or not), after 7 weeks last year staying in alternative accomodation.

Thanks for the welcome, been here on CBV 5 weeks now and just got around to joining the forum.
UPDATE...
The latest info is... gym will be here in approx 5 weeks, it is a pre fabricated building.
The boards are still in front of the apartments.
The perimiter fence is to be erected by the maintenance contractor and will be planted up with ivy and climbing plants.
I was at Evergreen office yesterday and discussions re landscaping are well under way, i was told that money is being collected from buyers and that if this goes quickly the landscaping would be completed by summer (July). The plans sound very nice but still waiting for a diagram/plan. Evergreen want to use CBV to be their flagship and hence I feel we will get high quality landscaping.

Hi paul, Thanks for the news.
We have today received confirmation that our apt is finished and have arranged final payment to be made. (more money for the landscaping kitty)
Can't wait to see the finished product.

Hi Andrew,

Just seen preliminary plan for landscaping, it looks very nice indeed. Lots of shrubs, flowers and gravel. The scheme is awaiting final alterations and I have been told that images of it will be available by the end of next week. It looks very promising for a summer completion.

Sounds impressive, we just hope everyone agrees to the extra payments!

Hi Andrew, Yes - it was a bit of a shock being asked for extra, but it seems to be for the right reasons, Crystal Bay View will be so beautiful if this gets the go ahead from everyone, I have paid my money so lets hope, let's face it people want to spend their holidays surrounded by lush greenery. It will benefit everyone in the long term, especially those that are investing seeing bigger re sale prices as a result of it looking great.
