My dad is trying to get electricity supplied to his house which is in the middle of nowhere but for a few other homes, and because they have to install something called a "Traho" which will enable electricity to the house. They are quoting him a flat rate of £7000.
Granted I dont know much about what the charges should be but this seems ridiculously excessive. He cannot afford this price I wonder does anybody out there know how he can get the price reduced? It just seems very unreasonable to me. Two years ago he was quoted £5000 its a big jump. Are they charging what they like or I wonder, is this the going rate. |

I have only 1 idea, it used to work in England, but i don't know about TRNC.
If it involves the digging of a lengthy trench, if he gets a private contractor* to do that, then Kibtec may well reduce their charge. * think building site digger driver on a Sunday
