Welcome You will get a pack from RMS the management company appointed to SWB when you have signed your contracts and that outlines your Management fees etc. There is a£1000 infrastructure charge which will be in your contract. The extra you will need to think about is your electric meter which will be in place on completion but you pay the connection fee. Your solicitor will outline all other costs like vat and tax etc so that you know what to budget for.

hello everyone,

hope everything is going well for everyone!!! havent been on here in ages and jsut been reading through some threads.... im a little worried as i kind of thought the registration had to all go through the solictor ( in my case naomi mehmet) is anyone else using her??? I have sent my police check report and been told the whole contract thing is being looked after..... when do you think we will get the title deeds??

im hoping to go over in perhaps oct or nov for a weekend to have a look around

Most people now use the North Cyprus: Holidays · Properties · Flights · Hotels · Kyrenia and more forum. We registered contracts when we were over in April. This process is to safeguard against swb co selling the same plot on to someone else. However a lot of us have done this registering so I wouldn't worry. There was a deadline to do this and that has been and gone.

It is said that 2 years is the length of time we can wait before we are granted permission to purchase. Although there is much more info on Cyprus44 about this if you want to research.

hope you are well. I have been told my apartment (104) will be finished around march time , was hoping to go out in march/april and was just wondering where you book your flights?? most websites seem to show the flights stop off at istanbul?? surely you can get one direct??? i will keep looking, hope you have some other ideas though ha ha!

Hiya Sam,

You can't get direct flights to ercan yet so there will be a stop somewhere which is sometimes Istanbul. We have flown direct to Larnaca in the past which is a faff due to the long transfers and having to cross the border.
