I have sometimes had problems posting on this forum. It can 'time out' if you spend too long typing a message, and is frustrating if you have spent a long time creating a message or reply to lose it all.
Regards

Thanks for the info. It looks like the cheque book has got to come out again!
We are meeting with the Directors in two weeks re the issue, so will have to wait and see the outcome.

Jimbob

We also received the email from Nurten regarding Lynx being the new choice for maintenance contract. Had a quick look at their website, and it looks impressive, but again, lets wait and see if their proposals are more favourable than the ones E'green presented to us.

Hello everyone

We have just returned from NC and took possession of our apartment on CBV. We saw Nurten three times and there was no metion of any extra payment.

We would support the inititiative being taken as we cannot assume that we will not receive such a bill in future. Also, as we have already paid up front for the landscaping and pool furniture and been promised this will be returned to us if 100% do not pay, this would form a large part of the extra amount being demanded.

Regards.

Hi Leochad
Welcome home.
Congratulations on handover, and thanks for the news on msn forum.
I can't understand why I am the only one (so far) on CBV to have received the request for more money, we received the demand the day you flew to TRNC, so thought you would have been informed of extra charges while you were there.
Hopefully everyone will contribute to the landscaping costs as this will only improve the apearance of the site.
Told by Nurten today that electric meters should be delivered in a couple of days, so hopefully will be fitted soon.
The sooner a maintenance company is employed the better, so we can all enjoy the facilities and have a swim in the pool.

Default Couldn't agree more

I got this too and I have two adjoining apartments D Block. It is hard to understand how a company that makes it's business by developing in TRNC can get it so wrong (by accident).

Read the contract though and there is no mention of actual quantum just the fact that we're obliged to pay the cost.

Did anybody` else have a completion date in their contract according to my contract` they` are at `least 6 months late. Has anybody` successfully claimed under the clause in the agreement.

Am yet to see a maintenance contract however am meeting them tomorrow - can't wait.

Best to everyone

N

Do you know how long panhandler has gone for, 1 or 2 weeks?
I was wondering if he'll be back with any news before I go over on 30 April.

Batster
I must be one of the 'lucky' ones, due for handover in 10 days time, one month short of the two year completion per contract.

Thanks for that jimbob.

Has anyone else received the proposed maintenance contract from Lynx?
Received an email today, haven't had chance to read and digest yet.

Interesting times ahead, expensive but interesting I am sure.

scot,
Had an email from Nurten this morning, they're still awaiting delivery of meters to the site (CBV), so it looks like we may be 'camping' after all.

Welcome hairdresser, where have you been for the last 18 months?
There's quite a group of us now at CBV, so you're not alone.

Default views on lynx costs

Hi suntanman
Have you had the email of Lynx demanding payment now in full £600 for one year plus £400 float ? We have paid for the shrubs and pool furniture .When we went in march to collect the keys (we paid in full months ago) we were told that we still owed £1040 for electric !It feels never ending . Is there any news on the electric meters? But on a good note the apartments are looking great and the builder was very helpful. If you have gone for the glass balcony you will need some nail polish remover to clean all the black marker pen off the frames plus 10ft legs!!!!!
