Blue Bay Management Services Agreement
I guess all Blue Bay owners have now got this draft from Lynx. I met them and was impressed interested to hear anybody else's views if you've also met them. The agreement we have been asked to sign and return requires more than a cursory glance (having read it) and would recommend that before signing it you have a solicitor look it over and realise what it is we being asked to commit to and what are our get outs if the management company does not do what it is supposed to or what we as a group think is acceptable.
I think a management services agreement is a great idea (as it benefits all the owners and ensures that we protect the value of our investment as best we can). It does however need to reflect the fact that the properties have been sold to us and we as a consensus should have the predominant say in how the site develops. After all we've paid for it so far and will continue to pay our management fees.
Important to relaise that Lynx are subcontracted to Evergreen I, for one, having met them would like to make sure they stay involved just in case Evergreen seeks to replace them with somebody we don't like so much!!
