Hi everyone
So far as I can see, there's Blue Bay, Crystal Bay View and the new apartments being built. Whether people are buying as owner-occupiers or for investment, it's in our interest to form an Association. - see my post in response to Panhandler's Lynx update. It's in Evergreen's interest too - a strong Residents Association speaks for community, which will make it easier for them to sell apartments on the new site. ALSO - and I find this VERY surprising, I see that a number of my posts have been deleted. Why? They were factual, they concerned matters important to all of us, they weren't pejorative to anyone, they weren't "flames" - and they made figures public and issued a call for reasonable action which it lay in our power to take. Edited right out. No notification. Who actually owns this Forum? Who's the Moderator? Why were my posts deleted? Why wasn't I informed? all the best Anastasia Last edited by Anastasia; 05-02-2008 at 12:50 AM. Reason: paragraph wrong place, spelling error |

Hello anastasia
I trust you are well I think you need to take a chill pill , relax, take stock, and look at the bigger picture. In support of your comments I can offer this Residents asociations are a good idea, nothing to stop us doing so regardless of the fact Lynx will manage the developemnt. You failed to answer my previous question, do I know you ! maybe when you next visit the UK, we should get toegher to talk through your concers. I think you are jumping to conclusions, in some cases not everything in life is a conspiracy. Kind Regards and respect to you Pan |

Hello everyone
Thanks for the responses. Panhandler - how can I say whether you know me or not when I have no idea who you are? If you'd like to meet up, then by all means email me your details via the forum facility and I'll respond. As for "conspiracies" - I simply present the known facts and leave others to draw their own conclusions. I have already posted that personally I like Evergreen and that my experiences with them had been good (until a few days ago - and I hope that will get straightened out). My personal feelings in no way affect the issue, which is that VERY large non-contracted sums are being Demanded - not requested, not discussed, Demanded - that's a fact. I asked for a breakdown and have had no response - that's a fact. I posted the figures so others could mull them over - my figure-containing posts have been deleted. As regards who would "carry the mantle", my understanding is that Pam and Cliff, Paul and Kevin are all willing and eager to serve, and very able to do so, being Residents, which I am not (nor will I be onsite more than a few weeks at a time). I have no personal interest in this situation other that wanting my own costs kept reasonable and wanting all of us to have a good time when in Cyprus and a good deal on maintenance too. On the Lynx front - I have now met their "man on the spot", who strikes me as very professional, and I am convinced from what he tells me that I was in error to think that the estates could be administrated with just a part-time secretary, so maybe Lynx is a good choice, I am not in a position to say one way or the other, because I do not have the facts, my requests for facts have been ignored or denied or I have been told that I have "no right" to information - which is highly unsatisfactory. What is definitely NOT a good choice IMHO is collectively handing over Hundreds of Thousands of pounds upfront to a firm who refuse us info to which we are entitled - especially when there is no contractual obligation to do anymore than pay £50 a month each - which adds up to around £5000 per month and that much ought to be plenty to cover actual costs. Landscaping, of course, is a separate issue. I'll be offline for a few days, but will look in on the forum again as soon as I can. PS Always happy to talk over concerns, by the way, when given the opportunity - as others have posted, the really big problem is lack of clear lines of communication - which is why I think we need to form an asociation and keep one another informed :-) all the best to you all, Anastasia Last edited by Anastasia; 05-06-2008 at 07:32 AM. Reason: add PS |
