Where have you been? I haven't heard from you for months.
I agree, this thread has got a little OTT, but as tim/breyer posted on Blue Bay & Crystal Bay View section, and not the one headed Evergreen at Crystal Bay I thought his comments were targeted at specific developments.
I understand that not all of E'green customers are satisfied with progress or standard of build, and am fully aware of problems at Breeze, as Erwin and I have exchanged many emails between ourselves, but I didn't like the way we were subjected to the un professional attitude and criticism by some one who isn't even buying an Evergreen property.

I've also noticed a couple of the 'slanderous' posts by tim/breyer have been removed...........Thanks Ukturk?
Let's keep the forums constructive.
I will listen to any one's view regarding poor quality/service/build, and take on board all that is said, be it good or bad, but wil not tolerate bad manners and arrogance from so called know it all's who only want to cause ill feeling.

On the whole it would appear that Blue Bay & CB View appartments (which this thread is supposed to be about) have gone well.

However & it is a big however, all the villa developments by Evergreen have been a mess. Late - Crystal Bay Village is now 3 years old & not fully completed & Pearl Bay (I know becuase I bought there) is not far behind.

You have both seen prior posts by CB Breeze buyers (one in particular, who we all know is genuine) who has pointed out all the shortfalls & the arrogance of Evergreen in denial of shoddy workmanship.

Why the difference - simple, Evergreen are a Developer & the builders used for the Appartments have been streets better. SO in conclusion I am really happy you have got what you want, but spare a thought for the villa buyers.

I don't agree fully with what was said by the others you slated, but in no way shape or form could I equate evergreen to quality, professionalism or indeed honesty...
Middle Easter
For the record nobody was slated without a reason, Evergreen are far from perfect, as I have already mentioned, if you look at my initial opening thread comments regarding Blue Bay Village and Crystal Bay View, you will note i am actively encouraging well mannered and pro-active communication between the owners of both develpements.
I am interested in hearing the views of other Evergreen purchasers as well, when you consider the amount of english speaking Evergreen owners out there, unfortunately there are suprisingly few willing to communicate on this forum which is a real shame .
I would like to know details of your experiences with Evergreen as a fellow purchaser both possetive /negative, its good practice to share this info, which is the whole piont of this part of the forum.
Regards
Panhandler

Default good 2 have you back in the fold

Scot !!!!
It is good to have you back.
We should definately meet up next time your in the City (Nr London Bridge)Tottenham court rd is no real distance from there.
I have jointly purchased some land with my Brother in law in Florianopolis (south) and Natal ( North ) Brazi, worth siting on for the next three years. should yeald 10% per annum over the term.
Im just about to grab some diner, will PM you later
I have informed Evergreen that i intend to stay in my apartment January /beginning of February, as I am concerned at the lack of any real progress over the last three months, the only logical reason for the slow down is that Evergreen are still waiting for final payments, therefore this could a vicous circle with people refusing to complete due to the standard of finish and those that have completed waiting to move in because of the people still to complete !.
So close but yet so far away ?
Surely this is just a glitch (albeit a long one )
When i return i will be hoping to report favourably on all outstanding issues and give Blue Bay Village and Evergreen the thumbs up !
Judging by the Blue Bay status i would put Crystal Bay Veiw some weeks/months behing us !.

It's nice to hear from you.
I was just going to ask what seems to be the delay with handover, you beat me to the post.
We will be sending our 'final payment' this week to our solicitor, with the instruction that no funds to be transferred until everything is complete.
Do you know whether the maintenance company has been set up yet? I believe this also has had an effect on delays.
Let's hope CB View isn't too far behind and we can all take possesion soon.

Scot

I understand the cost of building insurance is included in the maintenance charges, I am sure this was one of the many questions we asked Nurten on our last visit.
We did the snagging in Nov, and have been told that a written report will be provided from E'green once completed, so I don't see the need for a second visit.
We met several ex pats over there, and quite a few of them will look after cleaning/laundry, I will try and get more details when we are over again.

Default blue bay

Hi been reading your forum for several weeks, and thought i had better get involved. I have 2 penthouses at Blue bay. Was out there last October to snag problems. Still have not had any news as to progress.Want to start advertising for letting but still sitting on my hands at the moment.I have a relation out there at the moment, he will do a drive by and give me an update. It sounds like we are all feeling the same way, it is taking forever ,when it seems "almost there" but maybe a united front may yeild results, And i was also gobsmacked with the VAT element of final payment and water charges and landscaping and pool furniture. But hey if they pull it off it should be a very nice site. :

If you have been sitting on the fence for several weeks and have two penthouses at Blue Bay village you can afford to 'get off your hands' mate(your expression ) and get on a plane.
With the level of comitmert you have (financial gain ?)to this purchase you really need to be activly involved
The payments are fair , the sooner they are made the sooner the management comnpany will be in situ the sooner the developemnt is finished, and people like myself who have already commited to the payments can make the most of the property and its facilities !.
