I am another owner of two penthouses at Blue Bay who has been acting alone in trying to wade through the general feeling of neary but not quite that prevails in TRNC. Can't get onto Panhandlers's website as my office email police send me a nasty message!!

I was only invited to do my snagging in late December, but due to a manner of differnt things haven't yet got out there although intend to go shortly.

What are people doing for furniture etc. Is there anybody reliable that we can source this stuff from that anybody can recommend.

We have bought furniture from Olgun, the quality seems good, and they will arrange delivery through Evergreen on completion.

I concour with Suntanman, Olgun Group are a sound and very proffesional outfit, they now have another showroom apart from there main office which is much more accessable to Blue bay village
I have purchased all my furniture via these guys
I am going back over mid April for a holiday and to meet the management company to discuss the level of service they will be and can provide going forward.
If you want to talk, feel free to PM me, Ill pass over all the info you need, although Im sure having purchased 2 penthouses you already know the SP sir.
I was over in Janaury , stayed at the apartment, completed and handed over.snagging all done.

Anybody spoken with Scott ! havent heard a peep lately !

Don't know about discounts, but their prices are reasonable.
With regard to info, I can't help much with B Bay as I am on CB View, but feel free to ask anything, I'm sure we will find an answer somewhere.

I don't know what has happened to Scot, haven't heard from him since he was awaiting reply from his solicitor re electric connection charges.
Looks like we will miss each other again, we are over next on 01 May for two weeks, hoping to get our keys this time.
I think I am more green with envy at all you lucky ones who have taken posession and are going over before me!

Trust you are well, havent noticed you before on the forum board
I am travelling out to TRNC 15th April 08, one of my many tasks is to meet up with the new management company whoever they may be, trust Evergreen will have this sorted by then.
I assume you are a fellow purchaser
The questions that spring to my mind and need clarity are as follows

Annual fees
Service level agreement
Itinarary of sheduled/projected maintanace / management costs for year 1 and year 2
Off site or On site management ?
Manitanance and management of the pool / electrical sub station /water supply / irrigation system/ shop/gym as well as the landscaping

Other 'extra' services as initially mentioned by evergreen such as letting /rental service

We need to know exactly what we are getting to avoid any future costs, decisions made now will ultimately effect all Evergreen purchasers going forward

Hi panhandler, Had an update from Nurten today re maintenance contract....it's still in the revision process, but she will email a copy shortly. Hopefully it will all be re -written prior to our visit on 01 May.

I hope the maintanance agreement is signed off before May 1st ! in relation to Blue Bay Village
I am led to believe that the maintanace agreements (all be them generic in content, pending their respective facilities) are to be phased in on completion of each developemnt rather than on completion of the evergreen estate as i think you may be suggesting
However if that is the case I will happily wait 6/12 months before i commit to any contract.
Otherwise why would I be wasting my time travelling out in April if not to go another ten rounds with my buddies at evergreen .

Got some interesting news re electric connection charges, will post later when I get home from work.
I'm not a happy bunny at the moment!
Scot, shame about the p**s up, I really could do with a session right now.

Hi panhandler, scot and everyone.
We have just received an email with confirmation from Evergreen that our apt is now finished, together with a 'revised' bill (two monts after our final bill) for an extra £1000 or so for extra costs relating to electricity connections at CBV.
Payment for original bill has been in the hands of our solicitor since 17 Jan and we have been awaiting confirmation of completion to transfer funds to E'green.
E'green have appologised for not telling us about the extra money needed earlier, and have said that EVERYONE will receive a bill in due course.
HAS ANYONE ELSE RECEIVED A DEMAND FOR MORE MONEY? WHETHER YOU HAVE HAD HANDOVER OR NOT.
I was going to ask of your views, but it would be a silly question wouldn't it!
