Default Blue Bay village & Crystal Bay Veiw

Hi to all the old posters who suppoted and valued this excellent forum board
Lets all make it happen again for the right reasons
I am particularly interested in talking with fellow purchasers/owners at Blue Bay and Crystal Bay Veiw
It would be wise to start working/collaborate together for our best interests, as we approach completion and handover of out respective developments

Regards & Seasonal greetings

How's it going at Blue Bay, any nearer handover?
We were there in Nov, and several units had air con in place, and a couple had the bedroom partitions up. but no sign of landscaping/pool furniture or Gym equipment

Unhappy Blue Bay update

Hi Suntanman
We like most on Blue Bay have handed over in October, although there are still some outstanding issues
Firstly there is no sign of the management company, no running pumped water supply for the bathrooms, toilets showers etc...
The snagging is still yet to be done from October, a bit annoying considering how relatively minor these works are.

The Jaccuzzi is still to be fitted
The landscaping has started but looks a little dubious
There will be no external furnishings until the Management company are in situ.as is the case for the Gymnasium/shop

Bottom line is 'so close but yet, so far away!

Beginning to become a little frustrated at the lack of activity, basically the apartments are still not habitable.

Regards

Thanks for the update
Most of us at CB View have had final bills for completion of properties, to be paid within 45 days, I am very supprised that E'green are asking for money before completion.
We did snagging in Nov and were told that it would be about a month to complete items listed, so it is interesting to find out that you have been waiting since Oct.
I think it will be wise to get concrete proof and confirmation from our solicitor that all work is complete and connections installed prior to sending any more money over.
keep us informed of progress
regards

I note your comments........are you able to back them up?

Or are you just a person who has a grievance with Evergreen and wants to spread the dirt?

I have no gripe with the company -- just did not like what I saw. I am shocked they are considered to be a leading company. That may be in terms of marketing, but not in quality. I got lucky -- others have not.

I am not saying they have never built anythng good. But their current projects lack good finishing and are problematic. It is if there was a decision to cut corners.

hi folks, glad to be back on the forum.with respect to tim10 me thinks you have another agenda having read your post on cyprus44 forum where you are making a glowing case for another builder. If you have gone with another builder then I hope it all works out well for you but I really dont think bad mouthing evergreen if you are not in any position to substantiate the alegations is the way ahead.yes evergreen have made a few mistakes but when all is said and done I am happy with the finish of my apartment .Oh I almost forgot HAPPY NEW YEAR TO EVERYONE.

Default Tim's comments regarding Evergreen

Tim
Evergreen are not perfect by a long strech I agree
But your comments are far fetched
If your commets regading Evergreen are credible, Please can you enlarge on the following and provide evidence /examples

Evergreens financial status

Keeping legally bound time scales for completion (not handovers) please provide examples

Leaky roofs, which Evergreen development and when ?

Qaulity of build issues which development ? please provide examples

You can't can you Tim !

Regards & seasonal greetings

I was at Crystal Bay View in Nov when it was teaming it down with rain, didn't see anything out of the ordinary, which properties are you referring to?

Default Quality on Crystal Bay

I appreicate it is your choice to buy or not at a particular develpoment, however I bought on Crystal Bay and my property is in great shape. I don't really appreciate this type of comments, as I would not like the value of my property to decrease, or possible resale be affected by others comments. If you go to any development on the island (which I have many!) especially in the rainy season, prior to completion of a property you may see things that you would call poor quality, but in fact at handover I was thrilled; all has been fixed that needed tweeking.

You appear to have a problem....
I find your comments totally irresponsible and extremely childish.

Did you get the sack for doing such a bad job as there roofing contractor !.
That might explain it
But, alas !, this is about as true as your own comments, all unsubstantiated, and backed up by bull****.

I started to write a follow up to this thread, but after reading it several times decided not to post it.
I don't want to get drawn in to a confrontation with a s*** stirrer.

Panhandler/Suntanman,

This thread has gone bitter somewhat, I would just like to add some balance.

On the whole it would appear that Blue Bay & CB View appartments (which this thread is supposed to be about) have gone well.

However & it is a big however, all the villa developments by Evergreen have been a mess. Late - Crystal Bay Village is now 3 years old & not fully completed & Pearl Bay (I know becuase I bought there) is not far behind.

You have both seen prior posts by CB Breeze buyers (one in particular, who we all know is genuine) who has pointed out all the shortfalls & the arrogance of Evergreen in denial of shoddy workmanship.

Why the difference - simple, Evergreen are a Developer & the builders used for the Appartments have been streets better. SO in conclusion I am really happy you have got what you want, but spare a thought for the villa buyers.

I don't agree fully with what was said by the others you slated, but in no way shape or form could I equate evergreen to quality, professionalism or indeed honesty...
