I visited North Cyprus 2 years ago and am coning back this year. My other half loves fish and I seem to remember a fish restaurant (near Alsancak I think but definitely on the road west out of Kyrenia ) that was either shaped like a boat or had a mannequin of a fisherman out the front.

I may be confusing this with somewhere else I have been but am sure it was North Cyprus. I have tried searching the internet for it but to no avail.

Can anyone confirm whether this is correct or just a figment of my imagination?

Thanks for sharing the photos, they're excellent.
So far all I've seen of TRNC is the road between Bahceli and Girne on route from our development to the developers.
Now we have taken posession of our apartment can't wait to holiday over there and see more of the Country. I've just bought 4gb more storage for the camera, so hopefully will get a few shots myself.

Hi no you are not dreaming - the restaurant is still there on the coast road between Lapta and Alsancak I think
